Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is now in stable condition after experiencing a cardiac arrest during a practice session with his college basketball team at the University of Southern California, as announced by the James family on Tuesday.

The incident occurred when 18-year-old Bronny collapsed on the court while training with his teammates in Los Angeles on Monday. Medical staff promptly attended to him and rushed him to the hospital, where he has since stabilized and is no longer in intensive care.

The James family has requested privacy during this time, and they expressed gratitude to the USC medical and athletic staff for their swift and dedicated response to the emergency.

Support and well-wishes poured in from various personalities, including NFL player Damar Hamlin and basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson.

Bronny James, a highly regarded prospect in US high school basketball, committed to playing for the USC Trojans in May. His exceptional skills and potential have garnered him the spotlight, with many projecting him as a top-10 selection in the 2024 NBA Draft.

LeBron James, eager to share the NBA court with his son, has expressed his desire to extend his career for that opportunity. If everything goes as planned, Bronny could be eligible for the NBA Draft in 2024, while his father would turn 40 later that year.
